JD is originally from Dacula, Georgia and is the son of John and Karen Dillard. He has a younger sister named Lindsey. Growing up, JD was very involved in his church youth program, youth choir, and handbell choir. He played baseball all the way through high school and was one of his team's regular pitchers. Upon graduating from Dacula High School in 2004, JD moved to Valdosta, Georgia to attend Valdosta State University. JD received his Bachelors degree in Marketing and his Masters degree in Public Administration. JD has been living in Valdosta since August, 2004 with a short stint back in Atlanta in 2008. He is currently working as a contract employee for AT&T.
